Xochicalco Ruins, Near Taxco (20 Dec 99)
Xochicalco ruins dominate the top of a hill near Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos. These ruins include elaborate carved façades that apparently indicate interaction with post-Teotihuacan cultures. In addition, references to the feathered serpent also indicate Mayan influence.
