Early Summer at McCain

Summer is the off-season for dirt biking in southern California. Temperatures easily reach 90+ degrees & the idea of stewing in your helmet is not particularly appealing. But if you get up real early & head for the high desert, you can beat the heat & have some fun. McCain Valley sits at about 3800 feet, on the Boulevard/Manzanita exit off of I-8, about 45 miles east of San Diego.
