01 Baja 1000 (11-09-01)
The Baja 1000 off-road race was a brutal 600+ mile loop (1000Km) starting in Ensenada, Baja California. It ran to just south of San Felipe, returning westward past Mike's Sky Ranch to the coast south of Santo Tomas & back to Ensenada. Honda's Johnny Campbell and Tim Staab took overall honors, followed by Doug Fortin's Class 1 buggy leading the four wheel contingent!
