2003 San Felipe 250 (03-15-03)
Race day saw us busy setting up a pit just past checkpoint one. We where just off the northernmost part of Laguna Diablo dry lake, with most of the vehicles accelerating hard out of the checkpoint. John pulled in at this point to check the car & swap a spare tire. After determining the spares components where on the other side of massive start/finish line crowd, guaranteeing a 2+ hour loss, John called off the race.
