This was Eigil's second shot at motorcycle racing, and we chose the relatively famous Tecate Hare Scrambles just south of Tecate Baja California. With the war on, few of the nations top riders showed, but that didn't stop from making this a crowded & fun event. Experience playing in the area paid off, Eigil started at the back of the third wave & convincingly rushed through the pack of riders ahead of him. Unfortunately, he tagged a down rider's bike with his shift lever & stripped it beyond repair. we had lunch at the Hacienda & settled in to watch the pros take their turn on the course.
