Testing Axles at Plaster City

After having to sit out the Baja 500, the long awaited axles arrived. With false courage, I accepted the final ride of the day. This is a brutal machine that generates landscape-blurring views from the pilots cabin & jars internal organs loose! Fortunately, John eased my fears during the ride with valuable tidbits of  advice over the helmet intercom, little things like "breathe" & "relax"... things I was forgetting to do while experiencing a sensory attack of the first magnitude. Understandably, John gets a kick out of showing of his car & skills, the combo is among the quickest in the sport, with reliability as the only real demon in the way of an overall victory!
