FRT Superstition 250 (10-18-03)

at Plaster City East, California

Met the usual list of off-road  suspects,  just west of Plaster City. The intent was to ride some & view FRT's Superstition 250. We missed the Cycle run in the morning, but stayed around for the 4PM start of the four-wheeled classes. While spending some much needed shade time at John's camp, we where fortunate to meet Bruce Meyer, the father of the original Meyer's Manx. The metal-flake speckled fiberglass dune buggies that first appeared in the late 60s. Bruce is at it again with a modern version named the Manxter & has been fielding a racing version running the SCORE series.
