Trip to Italy Monte Cassino (04-26-04) |
On our return to Naples we stopped at the Monte Cassino Abby. The Abby was bombed to the ground by the allies in World War II & has been in reconstruction for the past sixty years. Large segments of the ceiling are still unpainted, but that which has been completed is magnificent!
