2004 Big Bear NORBA National (05-21-04)
Snow Summit, Big Bear Lake, CA
This is the big one for the year & everyone was pumped up for it. And it showed by the number of podiums by FunPig & friends. I'd be remiss if I did not play the proud dad & mention Eigil's monumental feat. He cashed in a savings bond just so he could race his first slalom, at a national, as an expert, and on a borrowed bike. Yet he dominated right down to the last race, where a front end washout stole his first place finish.
