12-Hours at the Summit (08-14-04)
Snow Summit, Big Bear Lake, CA
The Twelve Hours at the Summit had a big change this year, a summer thunderstorm closed the lift for two hour & knocked any chance of dust down to nothing. So what can now be referred to as the Ten Hours at the Summit included six inch deep midday puddles & snotty single track that kept many riders off their tires! In the end, it was an excellent run for all.
