Cindy & I pre-ran portions of the north eastern part of the course in hopes of finding photo op spots close to the beginning of the race. We do that to try & catch most of the field still running & to ensure optimal lighting. Nothing looked appealing,  so we ended up at the Borrego road crossing about Race Mile 200. The down side is we only got to see half the filed before it got dark. On the up side we ran into the same friendly bunch that we saw at Primm, now running check point 2!
