Riding to the Grand Canyon by Train

	Grand Canyon by Train (09-07-26)


This kicked off a long trip that would take us to Colorado & return via Oregon. We joined Kent & Eileen through the first half that included a ride on the Williams AZ to the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Of the two train car classes we rode, the dome car was the hands down favorite. Interestingly, the rim area hotels and campgrounds had just been closed due to a major water main break. People could still come in on day-trip visits (or ride the train in), but far smaller crowds than usual!
