We spent New year in the desert with virtually half of San Diego. Fortunately, we got to pick who our neighbors would be! Tuesday the 30th was mostly setting up shop & getting to know some of the new folk around you. Wednesday the 31st included FRT's Dash, with Dennis running sixth out of twenty one cars (results). By midnight, we gathered around the fire to bring the New Year in. Bob's gift from John was particularly touching...  Thursday the 1st was a day to recover, short rides & many went home. Friday the 2nd we took the little ones, riding their own quads, on a forty two mile loop that included Superstition and the airplane crash site. Saturday, the hardy few went home!
